Car pulled from Ohio lake in search for 3 missing

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (AP) — Searchers have pulled a car out of an Ohio lake where they have been looking for three people who remain missing a day after a 13-year-old girl who disappeared along with them was found bound and gagged in a nearby home.

Authorities are looking for 32-year-old Tina Herrmann, her 10-year-old son, Kody, and Herrmann's friend, 41-year-old Stephanie Sprang at a park in Mount Vernon, about 40 miles north of Columbus.

The park is near a house where Herrmann's daughter, 13-year-old Sarah Maynard, was found in the basement on Sunday and where 30-year-old Matthew J. Hoffman was arrested on a kidnapping charge.
