City votes on casino rules, talks business license

Following the Community Transportation Enhancement Program public hearing, Havre City Council sped toward the public hearing where they took a break to hear some thoughts on recent committee actions from local business owner Tony Dolphay.

Among the agenda items approved unanimously was the addition of casinos to the Commercial-Intermediate zoning ordinance, once the heading on the ordinance is changed from Commercial-Local.

This now places casinos amongst bars, cocktail lounges and private lounges in city regulations.
