Breaking Sports: Bobcats survive 110th Brawl
The Montana State Bobcats dominated the University of Montana defense for one half of football Saturday afternoon at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. In the end, that half was just enough. The Bobcats scored 21 points on three straight first-half posessions, then held the Grizzlies off in the second half for a 21-16 win on a frigid and snowy Satueday afternoon in Missoula.
Trailing 21-14 at the half, the Grizzlies (7-4) rallied to outgain MSU 243-56 in total yards in the second half. But three turnovers, including to UM fumbles on the MSU goalline cost the Griz go-ahead points.
