Spirits could not be any higher in Chinook.
Even with the wind and constant snow fall making the weather conditions almost unbearable, fans packed the Sugarbeeters football stadium on Saturday and witnessed history.
The No. 7 Northern C Beeters defeated the No. 1 Eastern C Wibaux Longhorns 74-6, claiming their first ever Class C 8-Man football state championship. The 2010 title also marks the Beeters first football state championship.
