Update: Amtrak train and grain truck collision outside Rudyard

An eastbound Amtrak train has collided with a grain truck on the west side of Rudyard.

The train — 1:12 p.m. into Havre — was running late when it collided with the semitrailer 40 miles west of its destination at 1:40 p.m.

Amtrak spokesperson Marc Magliari said that no one was injured in the incident.

The train is being held until the Montana Highway Patrol has completed their investigation and inspection of the train and tracks. The train will then proceed to its destination.
