Area gridders earn All Six-Man honors

After an exciting season of Six-Man football on the Hi-Line, several area football players have earned postseason honors.

The Big Sandy Pioneers came within three points of playing for the Six-Man state championship, and three Pioneers were rewarded for outstanding play on the field with the release of the Montana All Six-Man Team for the North, East and Central Divisons.

After making the playoffs this year as well, two North Star Knights also made the list.

Leading the way for Big Sandy is running back Ryan Miller, who was second in all of Six-Man football in rushing this season. Miller was also a standout on defense for the Pioneers.

Big Sandy quarterback Trevor Lackner also made the list as did end/lineman Kaden Beck. Both Beck and Lackner are sophomores and will have plenty of time to have even more success on the field for Big Sandy.

Leading the Knights this season was junior quarterback Jordy Donoven. Donoven had a hand in almost 40 touchdowns this season and was equally dangerous running and throwing the football.

North Star senior Connor Kline was also nominated to the All Six-Man Team this season, as he helped lead the Knights into the playoffs for yet another season.
