Havre girl raises funds for People to People

People who want to enjoy some great chili while helping a Havre Middle School student enjoy the dream of a lifetime are urged to come to Holiday Village Mall on Saturday.

Haley Nicholson, the 14-year-old daughter of Zeb and Shannon Nicholson, is one of several area students who have been selected to take part in the People to People program.

Under the program, created by President Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s to encourage international understanding, teenagers can travel to foreign countries to learn about foreign cultures.

Haley will go to France Switzerland, Italy and Austria this summer
