Museum board supports moving forward on new location

In a sometimes contentious meeting, the board of the county museum heard that budget deficits expected for this year have been offset by a donation and approved supporting a joint committee's efforts to implement a plan for a new location for the museum.

Gary Wilson, member of the board of the H. Earl and Margaret Turner Clack Memorial Museum, told other board members during their monthly meeting Monday that the Clack family had agreed to make up the deficit county-wide budget cuts had created.
