Mariani breaks Titans return record

Sunday was a rough day for the Tennessee Titans, as they were eliminated from AFC playoff contention with a 34-14 loss at Kansas City.

But former Havre Blue Pony Marc Mariani had reason to celebrate. Mariani, who returned five kicks for over 100 yards Sunday, broke a 47-year-old franchise record for most kickoff return yards in a season. Mariani has surpassed the old Oilers/Titans mark of 1, 317 yards. He now has 1, 416 yards on the year heading into Sunday's finale at Indianapolis.
