Tony Preite works to push Northern projects

It's been five months since Tony Preite started working as Montana State University-Northern's Director of University Outreach and Economic Development, and he has still hardly been in his office in Cowan Hall at all.

That's because Preite has spent most of his time down in Helena, working with the state Legislature to help secure the funding for the programs that Northern needs.

"What I've been working on is the expansion in a number of areas, particularly the biodiesel research, " Preite said of his recent efforts.
