Central A Volleyball Preview: A four-team breakdown

Lewistown Golden Eagles (No. 1 Seed)

Lewistown is the defending Class A state champion and the defending Central A champion. The eagles have yet to lose a match this entire season, despite graduating several key players from last year's championship team. Key players to watch: McCalle Feller, 5-10 middle blocker, Allie Adams, 5-7 setter, Erin Jensen, 5-9 middle hitter.

Livingston Rangers (No. 2 Seed)

Livingston swept Havre and Browning this season in conference but lost twice to Belgrade. Key players to watch: Tory Njardvik, 6-0 middle blocker, Courtney Njardvik, 6-2 middle blocker.

Belgrade Panthers (No. 4 seed)

Record: 4-4 in Central A

The Panthers have been consistently good in the Central for the better part of a decade. They also have good size and good depth and this season is no exception. Key players to watch: Dylan Fowler, 5-5 libero, Jordan Porter, 5-9 setter/Outside hitter.

Browning Indians (No. 5 Seed)

Record: 0-8 in Central A

Browning comes into the tournament winless. But as always, the Indians will force whoever they play to play at a high level. Browning is a good defensive team, with good quickness. Key players to watch: Marty Eaglefeathers, 5-5 hitter, Chelsey St. Goddard, 5-3 defensive specialist.
