Hi-Line districts pass levies and elect trustees

Voters in school districts across the Hi-Line handily passed levies and elected members to their boards of trustees.

Harlem

For the Harlem school districts, voters chose two new trustees from five candidates. Julia M. Doney and Michele Lewis won, with 133 votes and 136 votes respectively.

Turner

In Turner, the two trustee candidates, Johannas W. Brown and Kurtis B. Welsh, ran unopposed.

Two levies passed: a $48,934.84 high school general fund levy by 44 to 27 votes, and a $21,206.61 elementary general fund levy by 48 to 24 votes.
