A set of new, and a few incumbent, Hill County officials took their oath of office Monday in the Hill County Justice Court.

Hill County Attorney Gina Dahl, Sheriff and Coroner Don Brostrom and Auditor Kathy Olson were the only incumbents coming back to serve this year.

Brostrom and Olson were unopposed in the primary and general election, while Dahl won a three-way primary in June and was unopposed in November.

Taking the oath for the first time Monday were Hill County Commissioner Jeff LaVoi, Treasurer and Assessor Sandy Brown, and Public Administrator Barb Salerno.
