Breaking Sports: Skylights 77, UGF 45

The Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team scored 16 unanswered points to start the game in a Saturday night Frontier Conference win over the University of Great Falls Argos in Havre. The 77-45 win over the Argos avenged a loss at UGF last month and also marked the return of Northern point guard Taylor Keller, who'd been out nearly two months with a knee injury.

Northern led 33-19 at halftime and broke the game wide open midaway through the second half. Samm Schermele paced the Skylights with 23 points, while Courtney Blume added 15 and Laramie Schwenke chipped in with 14. The Skylights improved to 3-5 in conference play and 12-12 overall, and are back at home next weekend to host Montana Tech and UM-Western.
