Local Sports: Havre has a hoop-shoot champion

Havre Middle School seventh-grader Jerod Boles has won the Elks Regional Hoop Shoot Championship for his age group. On Saturday in Rapid City, S.D., Boles sank 24-of-25 shots to capture the regional championship and qualify for the national meet. Boles' sister Janae took third in her age category. Boles' is the son of Dave and Tammy Boles.
