Youth bowling resumes Sunday

U.S.B.C. Youth resumes bowling Sunday after a two week vacation. Remember the leagues start at 1:30 p.m., so everyone is asked to be at least 15 minutes early. There will still be time to go up to Holiday Village to get Marc Mariani's autograph as he will be signing from 1-4.

The Pepsi Challenge will be Saturday, Jan. 15 and Jan. 22. All information will be in this article next week. Chinook, Rudyard and any other youth program in the area is eligible to bowl in the tournament.

TIP OF THE WEEK: Staying behind the ball better and getting the most out of practice sessions. What this means is head the forward swing with the ring finger all the way to the release point. This will keep the ball into the body and allow you to stay more under the ball until the flat plane of the swing. The middle finger should be at a six o'clock position at the release point and then rotated to the three o'clock position on the release.
