Breaking News: Dickinson State, Southern Oregon joining the Frontier

Meetings in Billings Tuesday yielded progress as far as exapnsion to the Frontier Conference. League officials have accpeted a plan to invite and accept Dickinson State University to join the Frontier Conference as a full member, meaning the Blue Hawks will compete in all sports offered by the Frontier. Southern Oregon was also approved to join the league as a football-only member. Expansion talks also included Menlo College of California and Jamestown College of Jamestown, N.D., but both schools pulled back from joinging the league on Tuesday.
