Some big wins and key losses set the tone for this weekend in boys Hi-Line basketball.

On Thursday the 9C Hays-Lodge Pole Thunderbirds suffered a huge loss to Roy/Winifred, falling 71-40. The Thunderbirds held their own for the first quarter, but fell behind after being outscored 18-5 in the second. HLP was also held to just 22 second half points, while the Red Raiders scored 27 in the third quarter alone.

Scott Bradley led the Thunderbirds with 14 points while Ty Racine pitched in eight.

Friday brought several more games to the Hi-Line.
