Voting results, turnout

Havre had an extremely high voter turnout Tuesday in city elections with only one contested race, both in total registered voters and active voters who had a ballot mailed to them.

The total return was 37 percent of eligible voters, and 49 percent of active voters.

The highest return was in contested Ward 3, where Republican Rick Dow received 320 votes in the unofficial results compared to incumbent Democrat Bob Kaul's 264. Incumbent City Judge Margaret Hencz, running unopposed in the nonpartisan judge election, received 521 votes.
