North Stars close their tourney with a bang

In baseball, hitting comes with playing games, with seeing pitches and with getting into a rhythm. And at the conclusion of the 2011 North Star Memorial Tournament, the Havre North Stars American Legion baseball team started to show signs that their hitting is coming on.

Playing in their fifth game in three days, the North Stars saved their best hitting performance of the tourney for last as they blasted the Tri-County Cardinals 14-5 in five innings in the final game of the three-day baseball gala Sunday afternoon at Legion Field.
