Havre feels small statewide power outages

Some Havre residents lost power this weekend, but they were not alone.

Claudia Rapkoch, NorthWestern Energy's media relations contact, said that there were no large outages, only small ones all over the state as winds picked up this weekend.

"We've had lines down, poles down, debris in the lines," Rapkoch said. "They are very localized. It could be one customer or 10. It could be just one side of the street for one block."

Rapkoch said that crews were out working all weekend to resolve the issues.

"As is the case with these kinds of situations, as problems were reported, crews were dispatched," Rapkoch said.
