William Henry Maze, 54, of Great Falls, died at his home March 12, 2011, from natural causes.

William was born Aug. 1, 1956, in Havre to Norman and Margaret (DeMars) Maze. He was raised and attended school in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1974.

William was working as a peer counselor for New Directions Center in Great Falls at the time of his death. His hobbies included writing poetry, drawing and music of all kinds.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and his brother, James Maze.

William is survived by his parents, Norman and Margaret Maze of Havre; his daughter, Kandilee Maze of Cheyenne, Wyo. ; his sister, Lucinda Maze of Great Falls; his brother, Timothy Maze Ranchester, Wyo. ; his sister-in-law, Meg Maze of Ranchester, Wyo. ; and niece and nephew, Christopher and Sara Maze, both of Ranchester, Wyo.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home of Havre.

Memorial services will be 3 p. m, Monday, March 21, 2011, at the Van Orsdel United Methodist Church in Havre, with burial to immediately follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre.
