Ponies finish strong in Lewistown

High tennis teams had one last chance to peak for the postseason. And despite

high winds and colder temperatures, the Blue Ponies used the 2011 Lewistown

Invitational to do just that.

On Saturday in Lewistown, the Ponies braved

difficult weather conditions in which was their final matches before the 2011

Central A Divisional, which starts Friday back in Lewistown. The Havre boys

went 2-1 on the day, beating Livingston 6-1 and Lewistown 4-2. Havre's lone

loss was 5-2 to Butte Central. The HHS girls didn't fair as well in dual

competition, but still had good moments. The Ponies were...
