A memorial service for Jayson E. Hobson, 41, will be held on June 14, 2011, in Fort Peck, Mont. His children's wish is for all his friends and family to be there to celebrate his life with them. Jayson Edward Hobson, 41, died of complications of diabetes in Sidney, Mont., on Feb. 14, 2011.

Jayson was born on June 14, 1969, to Susan and Thomas Hobson in Bethesda, Md. Jayson grew up in Denver, Colo. His family later moved to Walnut, Calif., where he graduated high school. Jayson spent many summers in Glasgow, Mont., with his Grandma Jan enjoying the farm life. Jayson married Marie Nichols on July 26, 1993. They had two beautiful children together, Jordan and Jenna. His children were the true light of his life. Jayson was a wonderful friend to many. He would do anything to help a friend in need. Jayson lived and worked in many places in Montana. He enjoyed every chance he had to work at his father's construction company in Colorado. He was a laborer and carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, tinkering in a garage, or summer activities at the lake, but most of all he cherished every minute with his children.

Survivors include, his children, Jordan and Jenna, of Havre, Mont. ; his mother, Susan Hobson, of Littleton, Colo. ; his father, Tom (Karen) Hobson, of Arvada, Colo. ; his grandmother, Janet Weimer of Bonita Springs, Fla., his grandfather, Jim Shirey, of Roy, Mont. ; his grandfather, Jim Hobson of Canton, Ga. ; his brother, Jeremy Hobson of Bonita Springs, Fla. ; his sister, Renee (Danny) Luton of Arvada, Colo., and their children, Breanna and Ronnie; his special friend, Krista Brownlee of Sidney, Mont. ; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jayson was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Hobson, and his grandfather, Russ Weimer.
