Three local Republican legislators said things are going well for the state in this year's Legislature, despite what they characterize as sensationalization by the Democratic minority and difficulties with the governor.

Sen. Rowlie Hutton, R-Havre, said during the Hill and Blaine county Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner in Havre that one problem is transparency — or lack of it — from the governor's office.
