Muriel A. Linebarger

Muriel A. Linebarger, 84, of Roseville, on March 18, 2011.

She was born Dec. 4, 1926, in Whitefish, Mont. She then moved to Havre, and graduated from Havre High School in 1944.

She worked several jobs in Havre while attending North Montana College.

On Sept. 4, 1948, she married Gale Linebarger. Muriel worked in the planning division of the Montana Highway Deptartment in Helena, where they lived for 11 years.

In 1960, they moved to Roseville, Minn., when Gale took a position with St. Paul Companies. They lived in Roseville the rest of their lives.

They had three children, Ronald "Ron, " Leanne "Lee" Buzay, Beth (Dan) Salzl; two grandchildren, Andrea and Adam Buzay.

Muriel volunteered extensively in Roseville. She was active in Roseville politics, as her husband was mayor of Roseville.

She volunteered with the Minnsota Association of Learning Disabilities, where she received many rewards. She was a lifetime auxiliary member of American Legion 542, and a longtime member of the B-Dale Club.

She also loved following the many Roseville softball teams.

Her husband, Gale, preceded her in death on March 25, 2006.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the B-Dale Club, 2100 N. Dale St, Roseville, on Sunday, March 27 from 1 to 3 p. m. Memorials preferred.
