Northern C Girls: Belt 60, Chinook 37 (SF)

The Chinook Sugarbeeters had been playing powerful basketball. However, the undefeated Belt Huskies were just too powerful. On Thursday night at the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, the Huskies (21-0) methodically took apart the Beeters 60-47 in a Northern C girls semifinal game. Makhayla Farmer led Chinook with 15 points and Taryn Norby chipped in with 11. The loss dropped Chinook (13-9) into Friday morning's loser-out game where they'll get a rematch with 9C rival Box Elder AT 11 A.M.. The Beeters beat the Bears last Saturday in the 9C championship game.
