Delores Clara LaFrombois

Delores Clara LaFrombois, 74, died Thursday, April 21, 2011, at her home in Rocky Boy. Her wake service will begin Friday afternoon at the family residence, House H Bunty Blvd., in Rocky Boy. Her funeral service will be 10 a. m. Saturday, April 23, 2011, at Rocky Boy Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Rocky Boy Cemetery. Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Delores was born April 10, 1937, in Rocky Boy, Mont., to Charles I. and Beatrice (Pepin) LaFrombois. She was raised and educated in California and obtained her nurse's aide certificate.

Delores married Victor Yanez and the couple had nine children.

Delores moved back to Rocky Boy in 1984.

She enjoyed star quilting, powwows and telling awesome stories and going gambling at the hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Yanez; sisters, Bunty LaFrombois, Agnes Lopez, Janet Comosad, Margaret Montes and Joann; her daughter, Beatrice (Tootsie) Dubois; and brother, Joe LaFrombois Sr. and Reed Cabigas.

Delores is survived by her children, daughters, Crystal Greer of Florida, Lisa Cabigas of Rocky Boy, Cynthia Cabigas of Rocky Boy, Margretta Boushie of Rocky Boy; sons, James Dubois of Rocky Boy; Freddy Casteneda of Mexico; Robin Rodriquez of California; and Steven LaFrombois of Missoula, Mont. ; and her sister Louise Batista of Gilroy, Calif. ; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
