Northern C Girls: Roy-Winifred 34, Chinook 30 (3rd)

The Chinook girls basketball team got close to reaching the Class C state tournament. Instead, that dream will have to wait another year. Chinook's stellar postseason run came to an end Friday night in the girls consolation game of the Northern C tournament in Great Falls as the Beeters fell to Roy-Winifred 34-30. Chinook had beaten the Outlaws on Wednesday, but Friday night, the Outlaws got revenge. Taryn Norby scored seven points as Beeters ended their year with a 13-10 overall record.
