Great Falls Tribune co-editor Dan Hollow retiring

GREAT FALLS (AP) — Great Falls Tribune co-managing editor Dan Hollow is retiring Friday after a 34-year journalism career, most of which has been spent at the Tribune.

The Tribune reports that Hollow is taking early retirement to pursue work in a field in which he can help improve the lives of people in Great Falls and Montana. Hollow, who is 61, also looks forward to writing more.

The Helena native began his career as a reporter at the Livingston Enterprise in 1979 after receiving a graduate degree in journalism from the University of Montana. He was named editor of the Glendive Ranger-Review in 1982 and two years later began working as a reporter at the Tribune.

He would later be named news editor, city editor and four years ago, co-managing editor.
