Betty Jo (LaValley) Wolery

Betty Jo (LaValley) Wolery, 83, a farmwife and homemaker, died Sunday at the Wheat Country Estates in Chester.

A celebration of life service will be 11 a. m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Joplin. A memorial luncheon will follow. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel of Chester. Memorials will be given to the Bethel and Immanuel churches,

Wheat Country Estates, or "Gift of Life, " (Great Falls).

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Wayne Wolery of Chester; four children, Ken Wolery of Billings, Paul Wolery of Inverness, Diane Johnson of Groton, S.D., and Helen Turner of Portland, Ore. ; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Art LaValley of Spokane, Wash., Terry LaValley of Anaconda, Elaine Lukes of Spokane, Wash., and LaVon Cave of Hermiston, Ore.
