Donna Afdahl

Donna Marie (Tighe) Afdahl, 81, a Havre native and former registered nurse, who loved gardening and handiwork, died Sunday at the Chester nursing home.

A memorial Mass will be 10 a. m. Thursday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chester, followed by a coffee hour. Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer Afdahl of Chester; three daughters, Angel Lucke of Holly Pond, Ala., Marie Woods of Chester, and Marti Baird of Riverside, Ala. ; a son, Brian Afdahl of Milton Freewater, Ore. ; a brother, Robert Tighe of Sequim, Wash. ; 14 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Agnes; and two brothers, Arthur Tighe and David Tighe.
