Ice Hawks fall at Great Falls

The Havre Ice Hawks high school hockey team hasn't had much luck so far this winter.

On Saturday, the Ice Hawks were in Great falls to take on the Great Falls Americans, where they fell in a hard-fought game, 4-2.

Havre got a goal from Dustin Armstrong, as he scored on an assist by Brandon Huntington. The Ice Hawks second goal came unassisted by Nick Howell. Havre goalie Josh Emge saved 33 shots, while Great Falls stopped 30 Havre shots.

The Ice Hawks are back at home this weekend, hosting the Havre Tournament Havre will play Whitefish on Friday night, Salmon, Idaho on Saturday and Glasgow on Sunday morning, with all the games taking place at the Havre Ice Dome.

The Ice Hawks won't play at home again after this weekend until Jan. 12-13 when they host the Helena Bighorns.
