Wildcats strong on the mat

The Harlem wrestling team opened its season with a great showing at the Cascade Invitational last Saturday. Harlem placed second overall with 161 team points. Choteau was first with 229.5 points, whi9le Cascade-Simms was third. The Wildcats placed eight wrestlers overall and sent five grapplers into the finals. Shay Snider finished first for Harlem at 112 pounds, while Teague Jones was first at 125. Trent Noel also won the heavyweight championship for the Wildcats, while Jones also was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler. Gus Taylor also placed third for Harlem at 112 pounds, while T'Jay Allen took fourth at 130. Seth Adams placed second for Harlem at 189, while Cody Black Crow took third. Harlem will compete in the Chinook Mixer on Friday night and the Glasgow Invitational on Saturday.
