North Stars host Stallions on Wednesday
It's been a while, so the Havre American Legion baseball club is anxious to get back on the diamond.
And the North Stars will do just that on Wednesday night when they host the Great Falls Stallions in a nine-inning game at Legion Field in Havre.
The North Stars had last weekend's games against the Lewistown Redbirds wiped out due to bad weather in Lewistown, which means they haven't played a game since they swept the Stallions in a doubleheader back on April 22 in Great Falls.
Havre comes into Wednesday night's game with a 2-1 record on the season, and both wins over the Stallions last month were fairly lopsided.
But with little game experience, the North Stars certainly won't be taking the Stallions lightly on Wednesday night because the game will count towards their Northern District record.
Wednesday night also marks the start of a busy stretch for the North Stars, who also travel to Great Falls on Sunday for a league doubleheader with the Great Falls Electrics.
Wednesday night's game against the Stallions gets underway at 6:30 p.m. at Legion Field.
