Louise Sedenquist

Louise Sedenquist, 93, entered eternity on May 2 in Denver, Colo.

She lived in Havre for 80 years before moving to Denver to be with family. A memorial service will be held at 11 a. m. Friday, May 18, at the 5th Avenue Christian Church.

She was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Havre, to Harrison and Lulu Quigley. Her father died three days before her birth and her mother died the following day as a result of the 1918 influenza pandemic. She was raised by her grandparents until their death and then by her mother's sister and husband, Amy and Vince Goligoski.

In 1949 she married Bert Sedenquist and two daughters were born within the next three years. Louise devoted her life to her family, church and community. She will be remembered as a caring woman who was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed something and for her incredible sense of humor, especially during difficult times.

Louise is survived by two daughters, Karin Turner and Joyce Kaylor; granddaughter, Jocelyn Gress, and a new great- granddaughter, Ashlynn Gress, all of Denver; and one grandson, Joe Turner of Butte, Mont. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Dorothy Burton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
