North Stars start a long road trip today

After a long, and successful four days in Billings, the Havre North Stars American Legion baseball team will get right back at it.

Havre returns to Northern District play today and Wednesday with four games north of the border.

This afternoon, the North Stars are in Fort MacLeod for a league doubleheader with the Fort MacLeod Royals, while Havre wraps up its first trip to Canada with a pair of league games on Wednesday night at the Lethbridge Miners.

The North Stars take a stellar 7-3 district record into their four-game road trip to Canada this week, but things will be tough against the Royals and Miners, who are considered two of the top teams in the district this season.

On the weekend, Havre will also travel to Three Forks for the annual Gallatin Valley Open. After finishing in third place at the Aarons Tournament last weekend in Billings, the North Stars are 9-10 overall.

The North Stars don't play at home again until June 29. The North Stars host Tri-County on June 29, which will start a final eight-game homestand which ends the regular season.
