Why weren't Simpson, Huse honored by Frontier Conference?

Congrats to the Lights and Skylights and their coaches for their many team and individual achievements this past season and to the Lights for playing on at NAIA nationals. However ...

How could the Lights' Joe Simpson be left off the All-Frontier Conference first team? There are not, by any measure, nine players better than Joe in the conference. In fact, I doubt there are nine NAIA players in the country who do more for their teams and are better all-around ballers than Joe.

How could Lights coach Shawn Huse not be conference coach of the year? The Lights had a better overall record than Western, a higher national ranking than Western, were 2-1 heads up against Western, including a win in the conference championship final. Western's coach is conference coach of the year. By what criteria?

How could the Lights once again not be seeded at nationals? There actually may be an answer to this one. It allegedly involves the Frontier Conference's ranker being less than fair with his late season rankings of the Frontier's teams.

Is there something rotten at Frontier Conference HQ?
