More winter still forecast in near future


With frigid temperatures still in the forecast, the light dusting of snow a storm dumped on the region Sunday is not likely to go away soon, and the region is expected to see more of the white stuff as the week progresses.

A storm with high winds, causing visibility problems in some parts of north-central Montana during the day, dropped some snow Sunday, with. 3 inches recorded at the Havre City-County Airport.

The temperature also dropped rapidly, with a low of minus 3 reported at the airport.
