9C Girls Update: Bears easily advance

The undefeated Box Elder Bears needed a dominant third quarter to put North Star away. And that's exactly what they got. The Bears went on 13-0 third-quarter run and wound up beating the Knights 64-44 in the 9C girls semifinals Thursday afternoon at the HHS gymnasium. The Bears will play either Chinook or Big Sandy in Saturday night's championship game, while the Knights will face either Chinook, Big Sandy or Hays-Lodge Pole in Saturday's consolation game. Aricka Wolf Chief scored 21 points to lead all scorers.
