Babe Ruth stars headed to state

The Havre Babe Ruth 15-year-old all-star team has had a busy summer.

And now the squad will seek a state championship starting Thursday morning in Kalispell at the 2012 Montana/Alberta Babe Ruth State Tournament.

Havre beings pool play at 9 a.m. Thursday in Kalispell, in a tournament which is scheduled to run through Sunday afternoon.

The Havre team played four district games against Conrad last weekend, and will go in as the No. 2 seed from the Hi-Line district.

The Havre team, coached by Matt Jensen, also played two more warm-up games against Glasgow on Monday night. Havre started the summer...
