Breaking news: Blizzard warning for Blaine, Hill counties

The National Weather Service this morning upgraded its winter storm warning in north-central Montana to a blizzard warning for Blaine and Hill counties.

Cars drive through heavy snowfall on 1st Street in Havre at 8:30 this morning. The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning through midnight for Blaine and Hill counties.

The warning, issued at 7:59 a.m., is in effect through midnight.

The Weather Service warning says the storm passing through the area is likely to drop four to eight inches of snow in the plains and 10 to 20 inches in the mountains.
