Mont. jobs rate steady, up on Hi-Line
Montana's unemployment rate held steady at 6.3 percent in June.
More than 1,000 jobs were added over the month. The national rate also held steady at 8.2 percent for the month.
"Montana continues to post strong job growth, despite concerns about slow growth nationally, " explained Labor Commissioner Keith Kelly. "Montana has added almost 10,000 jobs over the past year. "
On the Hi-Line, jobless rate rose, which is traditional in the summer.

- Blaine County, 6.4 percent were unemployed, compared to 5.5 percent in May.
