Remap plan would alter state district lines


Hill County will be divided into four state House districts for the 2014 elections under a plan adopted by a bipartisan state commission late Friday night.

Under the proposal, which has yet to face legislative review, the four district would include:

  • A district that includes Rocky Boy's and Fort Belknap Indian reservations, that is similar to the one now represented by Democrat Tony Belcourt.
