Shawn Saddler Jr.

Shawn J. Saddler, Jr., 23, of Box Elder, passed away on Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. A wake will be held beginning at 1 p. m. on Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, and funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, with Russell Standing Rock and Kenneth Writing Bird officiating. All services will be at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Rocky Boy, and Shawn will be buried on the Duran family property.

Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Shawn Saddler Jr. was born on March 3, 1989, in Havre to Shawn J. Saddler Sr. and Lisa LaBelle, and was raised in Box Elder, attending Box Elder schools. He was employed at Rocky Boy Forestry as a Noxious Weed Sprayer, and enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, riding quads, and playing basketball with all his friends and cousins, and he was known for his fun-loving personality.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Edward William Winchell, and Leo and Elizabeth Duran.

Shawn is survived by his parents, Shawn Saddler Sr. of Rocky Boy and Lisa LaBelle of Sisseton, S.D. ; his sisters, Andrea Cobenias of Red Lake, Minn., and Taleah Saddler of Ogden, Utah; his brothers, Nicklaus Saddler of Sisseton, S.D., Zack Kendall of Havre and Gabriel and Brandon Saddler, both of Rocky Boy; his grandparents Manuel and Linda Duran Sr. of Rocky Boy; his great-grandmother Ruth Winchell of Billings; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
