Ellen Marie Nugent, 53, formerly of Havre, passed away unexpectedly on May 28, 2012, in Shanghai, China, from a heart attack.

Ellen was born on May 13, 1959, in Anaconda, Mont. She graduated from Havre High School in 1977, and attended Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. Following her college graduation in 1981, Ellen spent the summer backpacking through Europe, starting her love of travel.
