Breaking Sports: Battlin' Bears trounce Skylights in Billings

Scoring 10 points in 20 minutes is not going to get it done in the Frontier Conference. That's exactly what happened to the MSU-Northern women's basketball team Saturday night in Billings. The Skylights scored just 10 points in the second half as they were blown out by Rocky Mountain College 61-38 in Frontier Conference action.

Northern was locked in a tight game with the Bears in the first half, but the Skylights shot just 19 percent from the floor in the second half, allowing the Bears to run away with the contest. Laramie Schwenke scored 10 points for Northern, which fell to 2-3 in the conference and 15-4 overall.

MSU-N is back at home next Friday to host Lewis-Clark State and Saturday to host Westminster College.
