Kenneth D. Morsette

Kenneth D. Morsette, 67, peacefully passed away on March 21, at Northern Montana Hospital. A wake has been arranged for Friday, March 23 at 3 p. m., at Box Elder Catholic Church.

The funeral is Saturday at the Assembly of God Church in Havre at 11 a. m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Highland Cemetery in Havre.

Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.

Kenneth was born and raised in Havre, where he graduated high school in 1964. Upon graduating, he served in the military for two years. After serving in the military, he went on to pursue a Bachelor's of Science degree from San Jose State. While in college, he married the love of his life, Connie Swan. Their love has flourished and grown for the past 41 years. Kenneth later pursued a master's degree from the University of South Dakota.

Kenneth worked for law enforcement as a criminal investigator for 25 years. Law enforcement was his passion, and he committed his heart and soul to it. During his career as a criminal investigator, he worked for various agencies including those in Fort Belknap, Mont., Pine Ridge, S.D., Fort Totten and Aberdeen, N.D. He served 10 years working for the Bureau of Indian Affairs as a criminal investigator in Browning, Mont. For his hard work and determination he received the Medal of Valor.

Kenneth was a loving, amazing, and devoted husband and father. Throughout his life he had six wonderful children, whom he loved and admired deeply, especially his daughters who were his princesses. He babied them and spoiled them rotten. Kenneth was a loving husband, and his wife Connie meant the world to him. She was the sugar to his coffee, the bun to his hot dog, the answer to his cries and the heart to his soul. Kenneth will be deeply missed by all his family and friends. We'll always love you, Daddy.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, Connie Morsette of Box Elder; six children, Kenneth Morsette of Box Elder, Aaron Morsette of Box Elder, Patricia Massari of Hutto, Texas, Jacqueline Morsette of Havre, and Candace Morsette of Box Elder; seven grandchildren, Georgeline Morsette, Isiah Westbrook, Alyssa Massari, Leah Morsette, Alexandrea Morsette, David Morsette and Kiah Wilson; two brothers, Randy Morsette and Willy "Sonny Boy" Morsette; and his sister, Chris Morsette.
