Mildred Wymore

Mildred Marie (Tulip) Wymore, 94, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012. Mildred was born in Plum City, Wis., on Aug. 14, 1917, the third child of Royal and Ruth (Suter) Tulip. The family moved from Wisconsin to Seattle, Wash., in the 1920s, and a fourth child joined the family.

She graduated from Franklin High School in 1935. After high school she worked as an usherette, a telephone operator and a retail clerk. While working in retail in the early 1940s, she met Joe Wymore. They were married on April 8, 1944, in Seattle. There were several moves around the reg...
