Breaking Sports: Bison too powerful for Ponies on the mat

In a showdown between the No. 2 team in Class AA and the No. 2 team in Class A, the AA' won out. On Tuesday night at the Havre High gymnasium, the Great Falls High Bison defeated the Havre Blue Ponies 51-24 in a dual meet between the two longtime rivals. GFH jumped out to an insurmountable 36-0 lead before Havre put together a string of four pins together. Jayson Kohler, Eli Hinebauch, Kameron Pribyl and Casey Schaub earned all of Havre's 24 points with wins by fall.

The Blue Ponies are back at home on Friday night for a triangular meet with two of Class B-C's top teams in Forsyth and Conrad.
